Last month I had a business trip to Jakarta.
Jakarta is the capital city of Indonesia, located on west side of Java island. While Malang, a small town where I live, is on the East Java province.
There are several transportation available, such as bus, train, or by air. One way train ticket from Malang to Jakarta cost at about IDR 200,000 (US$ 22). Cheap enough to compare with airfare of IDR 700,000 (US$ 76). By bus is slightly more expensive than train.
I chose to go by train. The Gajayana Express leaving Malang at 04:00 pm, and scheduled to arrive at Jakarta at 08:00 am the next day. It's a quite long journey, about 16 hours on the railway.
So I also packed my Pentax MX with Pentax 50mm / f1.7, loaded with Ilford HP5 Plus rated at ASA 1600.
These are some snapshot on the train. Enjoy.
